Germany – Leberkase RecipeContital
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 lb Ground Pork
- 7 oz Pork Belly or Bacon
- Ice cubes
- 1 Tablespoon marjoram
- 1 Onion
Cut meat into chunks and mince on a fine setting. Mix together both meats and add salt, pepper and the iced water until smooth. Mince the bacon and mix with the meat. Add marjoram and onion. Place in the fridge to cool.
Put the mixture into a Folded aluminium containers. Use the blade of a knife to smooth the surface and bake in a preheated oven at 356° F for about an hour. Advice: eat the Laberkase warm in a white bread roll with a dollop of sweet mustard and a glass of beer.
