Lombardia – Paradise Cake RecipeRedazione Contital
- ¾ cup of flour
- ¾ cup of potato starch
- 7 oz butter
- 1 cup of vanilla powder
- 5 egg yolks
- 2 whole eggs
- lemon zest
- 3 teaspoons of yeast for cake
Whisk the butter in a bowl with the sugar and the lemon zest either whisking by hand or with an electric whisk. Once the mixture is light and creamy, add the eggs and egg yolks, one at a time, and continue whisking. In a separate bowl mix flour, potato starch and yeast for cake. Add the mixture to the wet ingredients. Now fill the Happy Day container to 2/3rds.
Bake in a 350 F oven for 40 minutes. Take a toothpick and insert it into the centre of the cake to check if it is done. Then remove and let cool.
