Italian Villages – Recipe of Lasagna with Carasau Bread


  • 7 oz carasau bread
  • 14 oz cherry tomatoes
  • 14 oz tomato puree
  • 10,5 oz mozzarella cheese
  • Evo oil
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Pesto sauce
  • Salt


Heat the oil and the clove of garlic in a large pan, after 5 minutes add the cherry tomatoes and the puree. Season with salt and cook for about 15/20 minutes at low heat. As soon as it is ready, put a part of the tomato sauce in our aluminum tray with handles and start composing the lasagna with a first layer of carasau bread. Cover it with more tomato sauce, slices of mozzarella cheese and 3/4 teaspoons of pesto sauce. Repeat the operation until you reach the top of the tray. Bake the lasagna in a preheated oven at 356ยฐ F for about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
