Lombardia – Sbrisolona Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cup white flour
  • 7 oz shredded and ground almonds
  • 2 oz butter or lard
  • 1 ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 ¾ cup cornflour
  • 2 egg yolks
  • Lemon zest
  • Vanillin

Direction

Mix ground almonds, butter, lemon zest, white and cornflour. Add vanillin and 1 cup of sugar. Mix all the ingredients. Add the egg yolks and mix again.

Baking

Put the dough on our Happy Day aluminium container. Crumble and compact as much as you can. Sprinkle almonds and sugar. Preheat the oven at 356F and bake the Sbrisolona for about 50 minutes. Let it cool before serving.
