Marche – Ciambellone della Trebbiatura Recipe


  • 3 ½ cup flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup Mistrà (anisette)
  • 1 cup peanut oil
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • Grated lemon peel
  • Salt
  • 4 ounce almond
  • 1/2 coffee spoons brown sugar


Whisk eggs with sugar and salt until the mixture becomes light and fluffy. Add oil, milk and Mistrà and whisk upside down. Sift flour with yeast and combine the mixes. Heat the oven to 356F. Put the mixture in our Happy Day aluminium tray. Cover the top with almond and sugar.
