France – Quiche Lorraine Recipe
- ¾ cup flour
- 4 oz butter
- ½ cup water
- 1 salt spoon
- 4 oz pack lardons
- 4½ gruyère
- 3 eggs1
- ½ carton crème fraîche
Place flour butter, water and salt in the bowl of a food processor and pulse to combine. Mix until a soft dough forms. Wrap in plastic film and refrigerate 30 minutes. Heat a small frying pan, tip in 4 oz lardons and fry for a couple of minutes. Beat in a bowl 3 eggs and 1½ carton crème fraîche. Add salt and pepper.
Roll the dough in our Happy Day aluminium containers. Pour the filling – lardons, gruyère, eggs and crème fraîche – into the pastry case. Preheat the oven at 356F for about 30 minutes. Cool 15 minutes before serving.
