Traditional Oven – Plumcake with chocolate chips
Ingredients
- 2 ยฝ cups of white flour
- 9 oz/ 1 cup of yoghurt
- 3 eggs
- 6 oz of sugar
- 7 tablespoons of seed oil
- Grated peel of 1 lemon or 1 orange
- 1 sachet of vanilla baking powder
- Salt
- 4 oz of chocolate chips
Directions
Beat the eggs with the sugar. Then, add a pinch of salt, oil, yogurt and the grated peel of the citrus fruit you have chosen. Continue mixing and add the yeast and flour a little at a time. Combine the ingredients until you have a homogeneous mixture. Finally, add the chocolate chips and mix again with a spatula. Pour the mixture into our aluminium foil container, lightly oiled and floured, and bake for 50 minutes at 340ยฐ F.
Do the toothpick test to check that your plumcake is cooked. Serve at room temperature.
