United States – Brownies Recipe


  • 6 oz butter
  • 7 oz dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 egges
  • 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 2½ oz ground hazelnut
  • Salt
  • baking powder


Grind dark chocolate and melt it in a Bain Marie with butter. Mix until it becomes a homogeneous mixture. Bring chocolate to room temperature.

In a bowl beat eggs until stiff. Add salt and all other ingredients. Add sift flour and cocoa powder. Stir with a spoon and add hazelnut. Pour mixture in our Smoothwall aluminium container.


Make the cake flat and bake it in the preheated oven at 356F for about 30/35 minutes. Take a toothpick and insert it into the centre of the cake to check if it is done. Let cool and cut into quarters. Then serve the Brownies.
