Microwave Oven – Vegetable Quiche Recipe
Ingredients (4 serves)
- 1 roll of rectangular puff pastry
- ½ yellow pepper
- ½ red pepper
- 2 courgettes
- 1 carrot
- 1 leek
- 3 eggs
- 200 ml cooking cream
- 80 gr grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Wash the courgettes and peppers, then cut them into small pieces. Peel the carrot and the leek, then slice into rounds. Put the vegetables in Contital lacquered aluminium container and season them with oil and salt. Cook in the microwave oven for about 12/13 minutes, at 600W.
Beat the eggs and add the cream, salt, cheese and warm vegetables. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Put the puff pastry inside our Smoothwall lacquered aluminum container and pour the egg and vegetable mixture. Level well and fold the edges of the puff pastry.
Cook again in the microwave for about 15 minutes at 600W with combi function and continue with grill function for a couple of minutes. Let it cool and serve.
