Takeaway food containers

A new study released by the University of Manchester estimates that in European Union the global takeaway food market is growing fast, with a projected value of over Β£80 billion in 2020. The researchers say that people use 2025 million takeaway containers each year but not of them are recyclable: we could have negative impacts on the global environment. We should pay more attention to eco-friendly packaging thinking about its advantages: it can be reuse, it reduces carbon footprint, it can help save money and improves the brand image of a company.

Aluminium takeaway containers: a perfect choice

Aluminium could be a perfect eco-friendly material to use for takeaway containers. It’s infinitely recyclable and retains its properties indefinitely. In addition, aluminium foil containers are perfect for storing and preserving food: they can be put in the traditional oven, in the microwave, in the fridge and freezer (but be sure to follow the usual safety precautions). More than this, aluminium creates a perfect barrier against moisture, oxygen, U.V. light, odours, mould and fungi growth.
