Contital is proud to announce that our Disposable Aluminium Plates won the Bronze A’ Design Award in Disposable and Single-Use Product Design Category. The product goes on the market to satisfy the need of disposable plates since the widespread traditional plates (neither recyclable nor biodegradable-compostable) are going to be dismissed. The hardest part of the project has been to develop a product with specific technical characteristics to ensure strength despite the low thickness and to withstand the stress of transportation, sealing and storage. Contital Aluminium Plates are available in different shapes and sizes, are 100% recyclable and are manufacture entirely with recycled aluminium. They can be used in the traditional and microwave oven and are suitable for freezing and deep freezing. In addition, thanks to a special coating, our plates can be used for the contact with all kinds of food.
