Anuga 2023
After two years, Anuga is back from 7 to 11 October 2023: one of the most important exhibitions dedicated to the food&beverage industry. The 2023 edition will focus on “Sustainable Growth” to place the right attention on the solutions that the food sector is proposing to address the imminent environmental and climatic difficulties. With a growing population, which will reach 10 billion people by 2050, so does the demand for food. At the same time, the threat of global climate change, water and energy shortages and the loss of biological diversity puts pressure on agriculture and the food industry. The economic and humanitarian effects, such as the disruption of supply chains due to the Ukrainian/Russian conflict and the increase in energy and food costs, are further aggravating the situation: the need for product innovations and solutions capable of improving sustainably the world’s food system is bigger than ever. These and many other themes will be the basis of the conferences and events organized during the three days of Anuga.
